It would be nice to be able to adjust song BPM directly with mouse from the deck view item where you see the bpm value: scroll with mouse on the two number to change value, separate scroll function for both integer and decimal part so you can for example adjust the decimal part from 127.1 to 127.33 easily . This should allow you to directly see when the adjusted BPM matches transients in the waveform view (as long as waveform is updated after these changes :)

To prevent accidental changes, I guess the scroll wheel to change bpm should work only while pressing shift or some other key. Maybe song details might have a 'lock bpm' tag as well.

Also, while BPM is changed and you have set a beatgrid point with beatgrid button, this place should be used as pivot point for bpm changes: right now, you need to set this point again after changing bpm.

I'd love this feature! This, combined with the ability to write the BPM to tags and possibly a metronome and I could replace traktor as my BPM detection tool.

A QDoubleSpinBox subclass could be used for this.
