Error 73 #38
Comments
Hi @popers. I have exactly the same behavior with all tested Huananzhi X99-TF/F8 and JingSha X99-D8 boards. Since this "issue" does not really affect the performance, I don't think you should bother about it. Myself, I was not able to solve it either. |
Same here. |
You can get rid of the 73 code by disabling Windows Fast Boot: How To Disable Fast Startup in Windows 10. |
Confirmed. |
Its a cirquit fault. Other it gives 73 and later D3 failed Dx/Dd, followed by D6 ( no graphics card detect) initilizing is to long |
Do you have any pictures? |
Here a link in i think russian ( i use translate) I use this motherboard with no DSDT or SSDT in opencore and all works ok. |
Hi, Sorry for bothering you but maybe you coulde solve a problem I'm having with my X99 MoBo...when I shut it down the USB ports ALWAYS stays powered, there's no way of shut them down too....If I understood well there could be some jumpers to set? |
The problem with usb power is the jumper on the back under the plate for
the back ports.
And on the left side by cmos clear side.
+5 or VSB can it switched.
+5 is 5 volt rail normal and switched.
Vsb is powered on with the VSB power from the power supply.
You can test switch the usb jumpers there and reset Cmos.
Normal it wil operate in VSB mode.

bluetooth with wlan card.
I have 2 pictures where all the pins are.
Only its i think in russian, i have translate it to english long time ago
before i got the usb ports on the x99 tf working in usb3 only mode with
OSX.
See pictures.

hi, thanks
My board doesn't have jumpers in the back side (the soldering side for
understanding), I can see only this jumper close to the cmos reset, where
do you think it could be placed the other one?

sorry but it's not clear for me... do I have to change the positions for both those jumpers? or only one of them? I apology... |
All that jumpers must be switched.
From S0 full power to s5 full sleep.
And waked up by the drivers only.
The 2 at the back are unser the plate, that mist be removed and replaced
back after changing the jumpers.

nothing has changed... now the motherboard does not power off anymore, it goes in FF state (the code in the LEDs displays) and I have to switch off the psu. When I switch on the psu the buzzer starts to "scream" and sometimes the motherboard goes in FF state and it doesn't power up pressing the power button in the case, sometimes it starts automatically without pressing the power button in the case... this happens even with the jumpers in the old or new position... i'm really upset! |
You ahve reset Cmos with the jumper and set it back before restart?
Auto booting are only with pused the psu with the min pole

Yes I reset the Cmos before restarting...sorry but I didn't understand what you meant about the auto booting... |
Hello
My motherboard shows error code 73 while booting, after restarting the computer everything returns to normal and the code AA is displayed. I tested various bios, including factory ones from the huananzhi website, and still the same problem. Any idea how to solve this problem?
