This wiki describes my fork of the Juk Music Player.

##Introduction I've been looking for a lightweight audio player that works well on a KDE4 desktop. The KDE music player Juk looks like a good starting point, in terms of the features it has. I'm looking for an app to play and search music locally, and don't much care about the internet streaming capability.

For now, I'm not interested in evolving the app for KDE5. My goal is to fix annoying bugs and simplify the User Interface. As I make changes, my plan is to target source compatibility with KDE 4.10.
