Kind of like a BMW Taurus
http://github.com/mmonteleone/jquery.updatepanel
A plugin and example of proxying ASP.NET AJAX client-side events that occur around usage of UpdatePanels as native jQuery events via the jQuery Special Events API.
So, instead of having to do:
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(function(sender, args) {
console.log('update panel just finished');
});
You can stay "jQuery-native" with:
$(document).bind('atlasEndRequest', function(){
console.log('update panel just finished');
});
And you can even use a shortcut alias:
$(document).atlasEndRequest(function(){
console.log('update panel just finished');
});
It also still passes in the sender and args, if you're interested:
$(document).bind('atlasEndRequest', function(e, data){
console.log(data.sender);
console.log(data.args);
});
The following PageRequestManager events are wrapped/exposted as jQuery-native events.
- initializeRequest as
atlasInitializeRequest
- beginRequest as
atlasBeginRequest
- endRequest as
atlasEndRequest
- pageLoading as
atlasPageLoading
- pageLoaded as
atlasPageLoaded
