Need some way to interrupt a running JavaFX Task, or set up a daemon or service to listen for Festival requests (which can then easily be interrupted or cancelled on a queue)

Can you look into this issue @RyanMacMillanSoftware ?

Still not fixed, need a way to prevent user input while word is being spoken.

I thought I fixed it but it seems to have reappeared.
I have provided a workaround, that is, place all words in a queue before speaking them.
