Sorry this update and module might have taken more time than it should have.

I've grown a bit fatigued with the module creation process. It takes quite a large amount of time and effort, then I have to rush in the programming at the end, which is the part I actually enjoy. I hope to take a step back from module creation and focus on system development. My hope is that creating modules can be taken up by another community member, with my oversight, but those plans have not been finalized and so are still up in the air.

Regardless, this update brings many useful features, see below!

Features

  • Drawings can now be configured with Zone effects via a new HUD button. Currently hazards, cover, and difficult terrain can be configured. In the future, I hope expand this with custom effects and applying effects to a zone via spells or miracles.

  • Character Creation has been improved to use compendium items as well as world items.

  • For clarity, max toughness is now removed if the NPC is a swarm

  • Talents now have an "free" option, excluding them in XP calculation

  • A new dialog option is available: Bonus Focus, which lets you numerically modify how much Focus is available

  • Add a field for numeric speed modifications (data.combat.speeds.modifier)

  • You can now modify how much mettle is regained per round (data.combat.mettle.regain)

  • Dialog change scripts have a new argument `resist' which describes if the roll is resisting something, such as a spell

Fixes

  • The Price of Failure button on failed spell rolls now uses the correct formula (derived from the Test)
  • Fix trait dropdown descriptions not working
  • Fixed issue when rolling with no scene
  • Dialog values have been clamped, so effects that may bring Attack, Defence, or DN above or below max/min values should no longer do so.
  • Fix Journal Image CSS
  • Improve some dialog effects applications that have a boolean value (such as double-training)
