This is the stable release of RELAY EXEC for z/VM, VM/ESA and VM/SP. No major new functions will be added by the author henceforth. All new development has been moved to relay.bash for Linux

relay.chat V3.0.0

This is release V3.0.0 of RELAY CHAT for VM/SP, VM/ESA and z/VM. It has the new /ROOM and /ROOMS feature. Furthermore, extensive error condition checking has been enabled. Especially in the areas of message loop prevention, of throttling and in preventing illegal users to send messages.

Scalability of this release has been tested to over 1.5 million messages / hour on a real IBM z114 mainframe .

The correct configuration of the installation parameters is paramount to get RELAY CHAT to function properly and at the right message thruput.
