5. Select the "People" list icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select your own name to open the avatar selection screen.
6. Click the "Change Avatar" button.
7. From here, you can see a list of your own avatars, the first spot should say "Create Avatar".
8. Click the link that says 'Custom GLB', found under the three default body shapes

Probably good to mention that you have to "Save" the avatar, then selected it in the avatar browser and then also click on "Accept" to actually use the avatar.

Maybe mention the #avatars channel name specifically? I also tend to refer to Discord as "Discord chat server", for those who are not familiar with Discord.
