Request for Mozilla Position on an Emerging Web Specification

Other information

We appear to be in the process of implementing this. It might relate somewhat to #30?

I chatted with @edenchuang and @hsinyi, and we're still concerned about WICG/background-sync#37 and WICG/background-sync#107, even for the one-off sync (which we're prototyping). We'll try to figure out a solution to address those abuse vectors.

Update: we're still looking into a possible solution here, but absent finding one this is considered harmful.
