ha the result files are empty :P just the header but no FFTs.
You can check slurm output logs for possible errors.
You can try to execute a benchmark directly on your GTX 1080 with this example:

./gearshifft_cufft -e 1024 -r */float/*/Inplace_Real -v

The GTX 1080 (GP104) also support float16 FFTs. You should enable it for cuFFT via ccmake . or cmake:

cd release/
cmake -DGEARSHIFFT_FLOAT16_SUPPORT=1 ..

make now involves downloading the half library (check the cmake output). You can trigger that process directly with make:

make half-code

It is just a header include though. Build gearshifft_cufft target afterwards and test:

./gearshifft_cufft -e 1024 -r */float16/*/Inplace_Real -v
