Display more information while playing

Hi! This programme is awesome, fast, versatile... only good things to say about it. The only thing I find lacking is a more "verbose" mode, stating source information such as quality, stereo/mono and bitrate alongside the format (ogg/mp4,etc).
But that's just a cherry to the ice-cream. I have no knowledge of python, but I'll see if I can write someting myself and present it once I figure out how the streams are processed and displayed.
