There are several clones of mwclient on github. Their owners should be notified in case they want to submit their patches to this one.

Clones to notify:

...others? (Note: there is rdhyee/mwclient, but it's empty)

Done. Please reopen if you find others :)

Update: @rdhyee's fork apparently lives in bitbucket. I'll notify him there. Also, @eug48 seems to keep a fork there as well, without any changes, however. Equally notified.

Update 2: I've had responses from all the github-hosted clones:

  • @danmichaelo says he'll definitely merge
  • @yuvipanda said he has moved to python-mwapi and deleted his mwclient clone (I think the deleted repo had some commits, and asked him whether they're available for integration into the canonical mwclient. I'm awaiting his reply.)
  • @bobbysmith007 said he didn't change much so he just deleted his clone.

And more details about the bitbucket clones:

  • @rdhyee's bitbucket clone doesn't have issue reporting enabled. I sent him a personal message, but for good measure I also sent an issue to the (empty) github repo
  • @eug48's bitbucket repo does have the issues feature enabled, so I added one there.

Yes, on my list of things to do: move from bitbucket to github and then issue a pull request....

Great to hear that @rdhyee! Looking forward to it.

Update: @eug48 has deleted his bitbucket clone and has submitted changes to this repo (PRs #16 and #17); @danmichaelo has merged in his changes (PRs #18 and #19); his repository is now a fork of this one.

Hmm, i'm using mwclient in my plugin for Sublime Text. But it was modified for work under Sublime Text 2 / 3 (python 2.7/python 3.3).
