The title doesn't tell us the MyBB version, nor exactly what you were doing, nor if you could reproduce on a fresh installation.

As this is a WIP feature (the whole jQuery conversion) I'm closing this out. See #251.

Yeah didn't realize the lacking version tag before I posted, because I came from the feature branch and forgot Github isn't adding the labels.
The inconvenience of using a single repository.
