[Enhancement] @tagging ?

If you would be willing to, and it isn't too much trouble, could you integrate a way to tag users and have the receive an alert when they have been tagged?

Here is an example:

You would then receive an alert telling and linking you to the exact post that you were tagged (the same as what happens with quotes).

Also, I am having a slight styling issue on my forum with the alerts. I know you probably do not support bugs in styles, but could you give me a few steps to remove the odd line and turn the alerts into a button (or a background with text over it to support the number of alerts). If not, it is fine, I will eventually figure it out after digging through your code xD. Thanks

Not going to happen. MyAlerts is designed solely to provide alerts - not to add any other feature.

I believe there is a modification being worked on @ MyBB right now though.

FYI, I'm currently developing a MyAlerts extension which will feature extra alerts. I've almost done the main core alerts (moderation actions such as closing, opening, moving, deleting threads/messages etc. + warning/revoking warnings), and hopefully I'll release the plugin soon. I've planned to start developing another extension which will feature plugins integration instead: basically I'll bring a bridge between notorious plugins and MyAlerts. An alert for an existing tagging plugin is planned, though I'll have to ask the plugin developer for permission.
