From firefox I tried monero:888tNkZrPN6JsEgekjMnABU4TBzc2Dt29EPAvkRxbANsAnjyPbb3iQ1YBRk1UXcdRsiKc9dhwMVgN5S9cQUiyoogDavup3H
and after selecting the MyMonero app image (Ubuntu) received the error message
"Sorry, that does not appear to be a valid Monero URL."

It has something to do this this code, haven't identified yet what is broken.
