n00dFootsteps is a free an open source Unreal Engine plugin so you may have the all important replicated footsteps mechanics up and running in a project in a matter of minutes.
This repo contains an empty C++ project branch based on the lowest supported version, and the plugin branch.
A fork of this repo on this branch can safely nest inside your project's Plugins folder. Create pull requests if you want to share your changes!
This allows you to see how the project config is setup - download this branch as Zip and dump your copy of the plugin in the project's Plugins folder (create one if it doesn't exist)

To use the plugin in your own project, go grab it from the Marketplace, or check out Releases.

If you can't wait and want the latest and greatest, choose the Plugin branch and download as a Zip. Keep in mind however you will have to compile the plugin yourself with this method.
