This is actually an overlooked follow up to nRF24/RF24#898 The problematic inconsistency was primarily affecting builds with the RPi driver.

I have gone through and checked if further related changes are needed for the I will cut a release specifically for the source distribution published to pypi. The src dist is only used by pip if a user specifies |
