These pacakages are being deprecated and Terra and SF will be the replacements. Have already replaced all internal functions but landscape metrics package still has them as requirements.

Looks like all tests are failing:

  Error: 
  ! error in pak subprocess
  Caused by error: 
  ! Could not solve package dependencies:
  * deps::.: Can't install dependency rgdal
  * rgdal: Can't find package called rgdal.
  * local::.: Can't install dependency rgdal
