CX II OS version 5.3.2 is not supported yet by Ndless.
What's more, once that version is installed on a calculator, it prevents from downgrading to an older version: IOW, your calculator is unable to use Ndless again for now, until a new version which supports CX II OS version 5.3.2 is published - if ever.

damn I accidentally upgraded to 5.3.2 and I can't get needless anymore

Hey Vog. Do you know when there will be a new ndless for 5.3.2? Just wondering on how long it could take. Thanks

Is support for version 5.3.2.129 in the works, or is it even coming?

Just to be clear, is it possible that support for 5.3.2 might never come out?

It's possible, for instance earlier minor updates didn't get Ndless'ed because a major update was waited for so that people could at the same time get new features.

@poke5352

Does anyone have any way to downgrade the calculator to an earlier version so I can get ndless?

Doe anyone knows what would be needed in order to support the 5.3.2 version?
Are there any works made on that matter?

I'm so regretful because I misread the update and upgraded to 5.3.2. I really want to install khicas. Hope ndless team can make it compatible with 5.3.2. Best regard for team ndless!!

Hey Vog , i'm french and i'm from Paris so we enjoy ur project this far.
I've understood that you are at the Origin of Ndless (at least i guess)
First of All , Thank you so much because that's just insane !
Here's my problem :
I just graduated to Highscool and bought my calculator.
The one friend that i have too , and all people too , installed Ndless and started playin ames and enjoying
But nobody wanted to install it on mine so i had to do it my self , and it wasnt possible ; I understood too late that the version of the OS had to match with the version of Ndless. So i just updated the OS to 5.3.2.129 like a Dumbass...
I'm not here to tell my life but i had a really bad day and tought i could be forget that and play when i will intsall Ndless when i get home.
And now i'm pretty sad and "scared" bc i see that ur still online "last tilme about 1mo" but the last Version of Ndless is from 2018 aprl.
I cant enjoy w nobody..
So please bro , even if u dont wanna tell when its gonna be out (bc i read all topics about that and i saw that u said that "it will be out when it will be out") at least can we know , if i one day it'll be out ? and if yes (just if you want : when?)
It could be sad to imagine or to say that Ndless isnt really Endless...
With all support , congratulations and understanding.
TysonLaRocket :)

MyBad , i just read that that's a "tradition , a rule" to not give an ETA for the jailbreaks , sorry.
I just wanna know if one day it will be realesed like , is this planified for the future ?
Thanks :)

is there a new way to downgrade my calculator it came with 6.0.3 so i cant install ndless?

Please, just please, stop writing comments about downgrading your calculator. It has been mentioned countless times before. Ndless can't be installed on versions after 5.3.0.564 and no downgrading exists. Just asking it on this issue here will not help anything, and distracts developers such as me. I can say we are close to finding an exploit, be patient.

YESSIR THEYRE CLOSE

Close to preparing an exploit, but you're forgetting about fixing the Ndless SDK for every single new version vulnerable, and providing new system calls, OS-specific shenanigans, etc. Not trying to discourage but yes we're getting close :)

@sasdallas

Also there is like no way to do this becuase its been like 5 years so obviously it isnt possible to downgrade or get ndless we are stuck without it SO DON'T UPGRADE OS

There's always a way to exploit code, you just have to look closely ;)

And even once the new version is released, everyone, DO NOT update your OS if TI releases a new update! DON'T update EVER.

TI patching this exploit is almost inevitable, right? Or do you guys think you will have it hidden well?

It depends - a few of the exploits we're looking at can be patched simply but we also have some that play on TIs failure to patch it properly. Unfortunately, minus an exploit in the bootROM, making it so that Ndless could stay in boot, it is not possible to create an unpatchable exploit.

The TI calc division might be following the ndless git rn and once u release the new version of ndless, be able to patch it in a future update quickly

Yeah, 99% percent of the reason they aren't found is because people give up. Think of the switch.

In #422 BRO SAID "Just release it man it’s not that hard."

Oh yeah, competing with one of the biggest multinational semiconductor companies to find an exploit to use because they keep on getting patched by them and to write everything for it, isn't that hard? If it's not that hard, how about he try to work on Ndless?

Come on man. Just have some common sense. It's not that hard

True. They also make missiles, so you dont want to anger them, or they might pursue you with something other than legal action… Anyways, I agree he cant just release it. The thing is, it’s just so sad to see the calculator community dying like this. It kinda peaked with the 84, and even though we have the Nspires, which is exactly what an 84 programmer would have loved, everyone has to wait for a jailbreak that nobody even knows when will come out. It’s not something to be mad about, and it’s not vog’s fault. It’s just something to be sad about.

I am not updating my nspire, at all, ever again, so I don't care if the eventual exploit used to make ndless work again gets patched.

I already made that mistake once, and since I can't downgrade, I'm not making it again.
