Why
Because GitHub Pages started to disallow symlinks https://github.blog/2022-08-10-github-pages-now-uses-actions-by-default/, so this broke our GitHub Pages deployment. If we use GitHub Actions as suggested this would have been fine, so this PR just tries to update that.
