Well, first, I want to thank you for your help. However, I opted for the nuclear route and rebuilt Neovim, which fixed the issue. I'm not sure what kind of silly mistake I made, and I'm sorry if I caused you to waste your time. |
I installed nvim from the latest binary release instead of from dnf. |
Same problem as neovim/neovim#27951 (comment) Fixed by manually installing the plugin, dnf did not bundle any parsers.
I've been hunting down the same problem for days. There's either something wrong with the bundled parsers available on Fedora 40 ( I can easily reproduce with a Docker container:

Yes, that is very likely. And you must install the bundled parsers via nvim-treesitter if you use nvim-treesitter. |
