Hold this PR since the commit messages will not generate meaningful CHANGELOG. I'm going to squash merge it when this is ready.

It is really hard to reason the logic in get_forks and reconcile_main_chain. Please add some documents and make them easier to read.

Why continue processing the new block here if its parent block validation result is false?
