Support for executable containers is an experimental NF feature that allows the definition of workflow process by using the container name in process task.
It has little (none?) usage and currently it's only support by Docker. Moreover it cannot be used when with container native platforms such Kubernetes and AWS Batch. Hence it limits one of the major NF strength that is transparent workflow portability.
Therefore this feature is going to be deprecated and removed in a future release.
