Welcome to the LDPartEditor project - the open-source CAD tool to create and edit virtual LEGO® parts quick and easy. Wait? Virtual LEGO®!? Yes, you read it right. With LDPartEditor you can create CAD models based on an open standard called LDraw™. Only the fact that this standard was drafted with the intention to model real LEGO® parts. This wiki is the main source of documentation for voluntary part creators working with the LDPartEditor (LDPE) project. They refer to themselves as "Part Authors". The whole process is called "part authoring" :book:

Java developers should take a look at the sourcecode to get more technical information about the project documentation.
