This PR bumps hidapi to v0.14.0, which brings several improvementes and bug fixes, as seen in #509.
I have tested the binaries built with this new version of hidapi in both Windows 10 and macOS (ARM), and it has worked fine for the showdevices example.
Please let me know if further testing or any extra steps are required for this PR to proceed.
