Notes

The agenda comes from issues labelled with ctc-agenda across all of the repositories in the nodejs org. Please label any additional issues that should be on the agenda before the meeting starts.

Joining the meeting

Uberconference; participants should have the link
& numbers, contact me if you don't.

Public participation

We stream our conference call straight to YouTube so anyone can listen
to it live, it should start playing at
https://www.youtube.com/c/nodejs+foundation/live when we turn it on.
There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and
then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to
before we can start recording & streaming. So be patient and it should
show up.

Many of us will be on IRC in #node-dev on Freenode if you'd like to
interact, we have a Q/A session scheduled at the end of the meeting if
you'd like us to discuss anything in particular. @nodejs/collaborators
in particular if there's anything you need from the CTC that's not worth
putting on as a separate agenda item, this is a good place for it.

@nodejs/ctc I'm definitely hoping we can approve and land #9072 (enacting the ctc-review label) tomorrow, so please take a look before the meeting if you can. I'd much rather discuss any objections in the issue tracker before the meeting if possible.

I probably won’t be able to make it again, sorry.

dinner at node conf still hasn't started being served, I'm going to have to miss the meeting.

I've thrown an lgtm on #9072. I'm going to abstain from voting on the other two issues as I do not have enough context.

as for the ctc / tsc merger I also do not feel I have enough context and am going to abstain from the vote. I will say that I will be happy with whatever the outcome.

I would like there to be a conversation regarding v6.9.1

it is almost ready to be promoted aside from a single failure on bsd. I think it would be good to get this out ASAP to avoid people adopting a broken version of v6 Lts

if I am needed for any specific discussion I can easily join, so please let me know

Won't be at the meeting. @mikeal should be streaming.

I don't think we should move towards merging th TSC and CTC just after the TSC has basically defined node core finally, now we could actually do stuff properly I think.
