I'm bringing my ECG experiments on PhysioNet data over to NAB.
Any advice before I start doing that?

Yes, if it is a labeled dataset it would be nice to consider 5 such files for V2.0. We need to take a look at the data to see if it meets the NAB requirements.

Bump: I'll revisit this task. You can assign me to it, if you want. If someone wants to join/help, please do!

Is there some doc on how to add new datasets? I've read https://github.com/numenta/NAB/tree/master/data

  • does every model need to be adapted to run on a newly added data
    • or is there some encoding API which the dataset needs to implement?

Is there some doc on how to add new datasets?

Please see the whitepaper: https://github.com/numenta/NAB/wiki#nab-whitepaper

Adding new datasets require putting in the CSVs, creating manually verified labels, and then adding it to the appropriate JSON files. Once we have enough new data, we can add it to NAB and then bump the version. NAB 1.0 should stay as is.
