In Malwarebytes Antimalware, the tab controls need to be accessible so the user can move between the different tabs.

This can be done with a mixture of object nav and flat review. there are several ways to do it. The main issue with Malwarebytes is not the tabs, its the list views which appear to be blank when they are displayed.

The authors are aware of the shortcomings of their software, but seem eitherunable to fix these things or its at a low priority. I spent some time about two years ago conversing with them and eventually gave up.

I'm not sure you really meant to reopen this ticket, as ticket 856 is still open and set as enhancement. However from the comments on that ticket it seems that one now can get at the tabs and indeed may not actually need to to update the software if using the current version of it. Redownload the latest and you will see in 7 days.
also a much more serious problem is the lists of any files it finds is not accessible any more, and this I suspect needs the writers to fix it again.

While the list isn't accessible, it is actually possible to view the objects that it finds when the scan is complete by saving the log, and then examining its contents.

Yes, but you can hardly identify the actions on the main screen from a list in notepad which is what you are presented with at the end of a scan.

Incidentally, I suggest we use the other ticket, and if the other person could go int the old ticket and add his email then he could see any updates even when the mail list is broken as it seems to be today. 23rd July 2012

Agreed; it's not the best solution, but it's far better than nothing at all. Once you've got the list of objects, you can use the buttons (Ignore, Clean, etc. But again, this is far from an ideal solution.
