Would it be reasonable to add all xrefs from "kidney" to "adult mammalian kidney"?

do you mean move or duplicate? I think move is reasonable.

All except

xref: XAO:0003267 ! kidney
xref: EMAPA:17373 ! metanephros

presumably?

OK, seems reasonable.

I think the overall design here could do with an overhaul. Perhaps merge this class with metanephros?

I love the idea of merging, yes. These terms have bothered us for years. Could I ping you on this issue after the integration of Uberon in Bgee 14 (like, in a month)?
