Sahi coco slice generating empty images with about 0 size. What can be the case. No errors shown

I also encountered the same problem
I suspect it's a new version issue
Changing to an older version can save cropped images

pip install sahi==0.11.14

What Operation System are you running? What Pillow version do you have installed?

I think this might be connected to discussion #981. Lets check if this was introduced in pull request #956.

Please remove the quality parameter in sahi/slicing.py
by changing the line

image_pil.save(slice_file_path, quality="keep")

to
image_pil.save(slice_file_path

Sorry, didn't see this, so had already added https://github.com/obss/sahi/pull/956/files#r1471881937 . This currently breaks with .jpg but is fine with .png.

Aside: there aren't any issues on this repo which makes it hard to raise issues ...
