This looks great! Thanks for making the additions ❤️. The old process was built before these APIs were available (I think) - thanks for updating the release.md, we should revisit that process to see if we can scale it down and/or implement it using the endpoints you just added.

This adds support for the .../releases/generate-notes endpoint here
This would allow individuals to auto-generate release notes before creating a release.
