GP1287AI VFD driver

Hi,

I want to use the GP_1287 VFD , its not in the standard version . I added the file u8x8_d_gp1287ai.c to my code folder and the u8x8.h as well. If I use capital letters the line
U8x8_GP1287AI_256x50 u8x8(/ clock=/ 13, / data=/ 11, / cs=/ 10, / dc=/ 9, / reset=*/ 8); // VFD*
I get
16x16Font:52:1: error: 'U8x8_GP1287AI_256x50' does not name a type; did you mean 'u8x8_d_gp1287ai_256x50'?

and if I use

u8x8_d_gp1287ai_256x50 u8x8(/ clock=/ 13, / data=/ 11, / cs=/ 10, / dc=/ 9, / reset=*/ 8); // VFD*

Could someone please tell me the correct way to add this driver?. Thanks in advance.

It works now I have the right library,my fault for not understanding commits, main branches and git in general, from izilzty many thanks!

"This is the arduino library I created from commit 9c0dc044e9062888ad3b9ef8138b

f363032df2bc, it can be installed just like a normal library.
u8g2_arduino_2.33.8.zip
You need to remove the existing library and install this version. After the official release supports this display, you can delete this library and continue to use the official version. Hope it will help you."
