The ontology of electronics is an ontology modeling the domain of electronics, that is designed for use in supporting information retrieval, analysis and integration for electronic design automation software.
The ontology of electronics aims to be compatible with the Basic Formal Ontology (BFO 2.0) and the European Materials Modelling Ontology (EMMO).
