WP7 Workshop Fall 2014

jastram edited this page Sep 11, 2014 · 14 revisions

Dear all,

As announced before, we will have a half-day or one day workshop in Munich (at DB facilities) on October 15, 2014. Please indicate your availability in this Doodle.

Objective

To ensure that WP7 will be effective and efficient in serving our customers (the other WPs) until the completion of the project by the end of 2015.

Specific goals

  • Roll-out of "Scrum of Scrum" - We are currently working with other WPs to ensure that we always have a project-level, up to date product backlog. There will be more announcements in the next few weeks, and on October 15, we want to start using it for good.
  • Grooming of WP7 Scrum Backlog - Our scrum backlog must be aligned with the overall product backlog. We will start this beforehand online, but I expect to finalize the initial grooming on October 15, with the goal to keep it continuously groomed until the end of the project.
  • Resource planning - The hours reported on the Activity log are very low. If these numbers were right, then most partners would have to work overtime for the rest of the year to fulfill their ITEA obligations. My goal is to understand (a) what resources are actually available and (b) how to make sure that we activate the dormant resources that we have.
  • Technical sessions, as time permits - I don't expect the above to take more than half a day. I suggest to use the other half for technical break-out sessions. Please indicate below what topics you are interested in.

Technical sessions

If you would like to request a technical break-out session, please indicated it in this table below
