Problem

  1. The newly added Kazakh language needs new glyphs.
  2. Some boot menu texts are not translatable.

Solution for 1.

Rebuild gfxboot font file. As the Freetype renderer produces different output again, I take the opportunity to replace

  • FZHeiTi for Chinese with arphic-uming
  • arabic-kacst for Arabic with noto-naskharabic

for better readability. Also, bold fonts are replaced with their regular counterparts, as they were rendered 'more bold' as in the past.

Also, the font renderer needed an update to take more font file extensions into account.

Solution for 2.

Extend po files to contain needed texts.
