The '3D Mouse' toolbar should only display when a 3D Mouse is detected. Currently the app believes a (16 button) 3D Mouse is present when none exists.

3D Mouse HID driver in (customized) freeglut appears to detect the 3Dconnexion CadMouse as a 3D Mouse (SpaceMouse). Likely related to VID / PID identification.

Also, it was reported that the SpaceMouse Compact does not work. Likely uses the 6 byte data layout just like the Space Navigator (newer SpaceMouse series use 12 bytes of data).
