OpenAPI feed validators

• Blue Systems valuable idea, a lot of mistakes can be found in live feeds, some are tribal to fix and can help with human error.
• Can be good to use for pointing orgs to fix feeds

Policy generator

• SFMTA would be helpful. Haven’t made it yet because of the complexity
• Blue Systems - effort to produce something like this would be big to keep it reasonable to use and maintain. Could be ok for basic. Matching to SLAs is a different story
• Lacuna multiple engineers for multiple months, a lot of effort
• LADOT - spirit of OMF staring point

Requirements

• SFMTA - obvious role for OMF to step in here to help get to critical mass of use to realize value of this idea.

Cohort

• Blue systems - looking at use cases for 2.0. Easy way to help OMF is to present feedback on MVPs to cohort
• LADOT - very excited about 2.0 for dockless and delivery robots, here to help

OMF Conferences

• We’ll be speaking at Urbanism Next, ITSA in April hosting city DOT roundtable, and CoMotion Miami in May for launch of MDS 2.0. We’ll also be attending others like NACTO designing cities in Denver. More to come - there are several at the end of the year that are still in the planning process that we’ll also likely be attending and/or speaking at. MetroLab’s Summit in Portland, and at OpenPlans around curb in NYC. Urbanism Next in Portland on some panels.
