I would like to replace the primary userid of a newly generated key, or as a second alternative self-sign a new user id.
I am trying to use Key.signPrimaryUser and Key.signAllUsers
Attempt 1: Create new UserIDPacket and append it to the Packetlist, and instantiate a new PrivateKey with that list.
Result 1: "Error: The user's own key can only be used for self-certifications"
Attempt 2: Replace the UserIDPacket in the key's PacketList with a different one.
Result 2: Error: Could not find valid self-signature in key 63e6576cb9270099: Signed digest did not match.
is there a way to do this?
use case is to generate the uid of the user based on the key generated.
