[release-4.7] Bug 1963243: Add a condition to check if the Endpoints ID is duplicated #288

Conversation

openshift-cherrypick-robot

This is an automated cherry-pick of #285

/assign sgreene570

EndpointSlice can be duplicated. For suppressing broken the haproxy.config, add a condition to check if the Endpoints is duplicated before adding the new endpoints actually.

@openshift-cherrypick-robot: This pull request references Bugzilla bug 1963243, which is invalid:

  • expected dependent Bugzilla bug 1961550 to be in one of the following states: VERIFIED, RELEASE_PENDING, CLOSED (ERRATA), CLOSED (CURRENTRELEASE), but it is ON_QA instead

Comment /bugzilla refresh to re-evaluate validity if changes to the Bugzilla bug are made, or edit the title of this pull request to link to a different bug.

nit: the message doesn't make sense. Maybe "skipped adding a duplicated endpoints object"

In #285, @frobware and I noticed this but decided it wasn't worth lamenting over.
