Extended Data Schemas

In order to be able to share data between different BIM software packages a few simple data formats have been created.

These formats are called "Extended Data Schemas", this terminology originates from the BIMserver project, this should be changed to a better name.

These Extended Data Schemas can be identified by their name. A lot of extended data schemas refer to already existing versions of standards such as IFC.
