bcm47xx: add kernels 6.1 and 6.6 #14968

This is an automatically generated commit. When doing `git bisect`, consider `git bisect --skip`. Signed-off-by: Mieczyslaw Nalewaj <namiltd@yahoo.com>
This is an automatically generated commit which aids following Kernel patch history, as git will see the move and copy as a rename thus defeating the purpose. See: https://lists.openwrt.org/pipermail/openwrt-devel/2023-October/041673.html for the original discussion. Signed-off-by: Mieczyslaw Nalewaj <namiltd@yahoo.com>

Not having such a device, so merely commenting as an on-looker. Is it really worthwhile to add 6.1 and 6.6? Might it make more sense to add 6.6 and completely skip 6.1? |
Kernel 6.1 looks like a kernel for a future release. Most platforms already support it. |
Seemed like there was hope the next release would use 6.6, in which case skipping 6.1 might be better. Enough commentary from the peanut gallery on this though. |
I'm also in favor of 6.6. I've implemented both, so there's a choice. |
Tested on Luxul XWR-1750 (BCM4706). Working: switch (LAN, WAN), LEDs, sysupgrade. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl>
I upgraded this morning my r8000 and all I can say it is rock solid... Thank you... |
Adding kernel 6.1 as main and 6.6 as test kernel for bcm47xx.
