I have been a loyal user of NVIDIA Profile Inspector for several years as I currently use a rare-but-reliable dual-slot Inno3D RTX 4070 Ti GPU I purchased online last year from a foreign retailer in my home-built gaming workstation PC. (Full disclosure, I am American.)

As it has been almost a year since the last stable release was released for download, I would like to know why this app has been hardly worked on development wise on GitHub.

As I am not a programmer in the first place; rather, a PC hardware enthusiast with a rich computer history dating back to my childhood in the past three decades, I am very concerned that this project has not seen any major commitments to at least a public preview release or even a full-blown stable kind.

Please tell me the truth of the state of this project's progress, as I honestly don't want to use the generic NVIDIA control panel app for what I can do on this project's app.

PS: can you please add dark mode to a future release of this app for this project? The default white background is too eye-straining for everyday use in this day and age.

Thanks, and keep up the great work on this project's app!

The radio silence from this project makes me believe it is done for sadly, which is really sad.

I forked it, will add various features, already added some settings and made a release. Feel free to contribute, I will build releases now and then until Orbmu2k returns or I no longer have an Nvidia card.

You could easily add to the research or descriptions of settings, if nothing else. I’m no pro, but it’s a simple enough project to at least expose more options and integrate things others have added.

I didn’t see any other forks that were active and building releases, so I’m doing it to learn and contribute to something useful. I’m exploring possible dark mode options at the moment, will look into the improved searching another user has done shortly.

@AnubyteCode could you maybe add DLSS settings from @emoose mentioned here in a future update of your fork?
Or better yet from here (see Optional Files there) as this one also has settings for RTX HDR. Not a big fan of them being on top of the list though.
Would make it about as up-to-date as it can be as of right now.

Edit: There's a better list of DLSS related keys here. I would add them all but maybe put the less usable ones into "Common" while more usable DLSS ones and HDR ones could be in their own groups.

Workstation setup ported to laptop, had been in limbo for a bit being out of country. I'll begin more additions shortly.
