Similar to #33, but for Linux machines instead of Docker containers. Both will likely be implemented at the same time.

Sorry, postponing this one due to unexpected issues in release builds and potential compatibility issues with some third-party tools (needs more testing).

Should this be re-opened until those are fixed?

A quick update: This is now working in release builds. Just needs more compatibility testing.

Okay, WWDC and macOS Sonoma bugs ruined my plans last week, but here are experimental builds for bridge/IP access! 🎉

Please let us know how it works for you, regardless of whether it's working or broken. Your feedback will be especially helpful if you use a VPN, frequently switch between networks, or have other tricky or unusual network conditions. Don't hesitate to bring up any unexpected behavior or hiccups.

The new unified network bridge includes support for both Docker networks (#33) and Linux machines (#89).

If all goes well, this will be included in the next feature release along with an option to disable the feature if necessary.

Fixed a bug causing some workloads to run very slowly over the bridge network on macOS 12 Monterey:

macOS 13+ isn't affected by the bug, but there are other new features and fixes. All users on the experimental build should upgrade immediately.

We're considering this done now. It'll be included in the next feature release.

@unikzforce Please open a new issue and fill out as much of the template as possible, including a diagnostic report and, if possible, a reproducer.
