the only thing that comes to mind is improvements to the query subsystem---performance, semantics, security, etc. (I did the analysis a while back and put it on the wiki.) But it doesn't look like anyone complained about any of those things, so if you agree I'd leave them out of the roadmap for now---my thinking is that probably the way people actually use the query subsystem is such that those snags never get hit, so I don't think it's worth our while putting in too much effort for too little return?
