There are a number of links to external registration agency sites that are dead or resulting in 404 errors.

I will write a script to attempt to detect as many as possible so that they can be rectified.

The script url_tester.py on the 195-check-urls branch can be run to test the existence, validity and status codes of URLs in the register.

I've created a Gist of today's results, which can be used to identify:

Lists with no entry in the URL field (example AR-CUIT)
Lists with invalid URLs (example AF-CBR)
URLs with 4xx client errors (example AL-CR)
URLs with 5xx server errors (example XI-EORI)
Good URLs! 2xx
