Fully Vegan or Vegetarian Tag #8265
Comments
also see #7996 currently, we only use |
Well, maybe for vegan=yes use "Vegan Options" or "Vegan", for vegan=only use "Vegan Only"? |
Yes please! Also in Search: it would be helpful to make a visual distinction in search results between This is because in some regions of the world, most restaurants, cafes etc. have a vegan option, and it's not so useful to see all of them show up. (Also, mappers don't tend to bother adding In other areas of the world, where vegan / vegetarian food is more rare, I am interested in seeing every place that has a vegan/vegetarian option so the current approach works well. |
Currently it is difficult to know if a place is fully vegan or vegetarian or simply has vegan or vegetarian options as the vegan or vegetarian tag could apply to both categories of establishments.
It should be noted that vegetarians do not eat meat while vegans do not eat animal products.
It would be great to have "vegan or vegetarian only or fully vegan or vegetarian" tag to clear up some of the confusion for the users.
Currently, I have to open Ecosia to check if a place is either fully vegan or vegetarian. It would convenient to be able to do this while still in the app.
Something like this example would be great!
We could also have more uptake of Organic Maps within the related communities such as Rastafarians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Muslims and Seventh-day Adventists.
