Hi, I recommend using the "Suggest a Feature" button in Visual Studio to report this. -- |

Using CoPilot in VSCode, I can ask in-line questions and move those questions to the chat window to save the history. I cannot do this in the Visual Studio extension as once you close the in-line chat window, that response is gone. The logs even say so:
In VSCode, I can delete the response that Copilot gives me in the chat window. In Visual Studio, I cannot delete any responses in the Copilot Chat window and I am forced to create a new "thread" if I want to discard only part of a response, which forces me to create an entirely new conversation.
Am I missing a setting somewhere that would enable these features in Visual Studio? Seems strange to exclude them.
