Unable to create stripe account without GST Number (India)

Hi guys, Im from India and international payments for individual accounts isnt supported so I chose the sole propertiership option while making stripe account and then it asks me to enter GSTIN Number and that looks optional but i cant continue further due to it

So is it not possible to use stripe without entering the GST number ( for Indians ) ? It would be really nice if github handled the bank account directly like buymeacoffee does or could support paypal. Stripe here is very restricting..

GST (TAX) here is paid by those who earn 2 million INR per year but I dont even own any business! Im just an undergrad and got told by some that I must include github native sponsors to my repo

EDIT : I was able to do it in stripe in connect.stripe.com, I think the optional field in the github sponsors page is bugged.
