This scrapes terms from the British Museum Thesaurus published1 at http://www.collectionslink.org.uk/assets/thesaurus/Objintro.htm2, and then finds the URI identifier for the term on the British Museum SPARQL endpoint (http://collection.britishmuseum.org/Sparql). It also looks up the term on the Portable Antiquities Scheme http://finds.org.uk/ to see if the term is used there, and if so records the of that as well. These URIs can be used to further query the SPARQL endpoint, or as identifiers in other systems…
