Steps to reproduce

  1. updated master to commit 0487b54
  2. change to the admin page
  3. watch the owncloud.log

Expected behaviour

No error message should appear

Actual behaviour

Error PHP Undefined index: newVersionString at /var/www/xxxx/apps/updatenotification/templates/admin.php#8

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 14.04

Web server: nginx

Database: mysql

PHP version: 5.5.9

ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page) ownCloud 9.1.0 pre alpha (git)

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: update

Where did you install ownCloud from: via ocdev

Will be fixed with 9.0.1 once #22886 is merged :)

Can confirm this as well. To bad the fix isn't coming until 9.0.1 as it spams the log. :/ Anyway, great work guys!

Unfortunately I have the same Error and on my webpage there no Files shown (I don't know if it because that Error or some another, It's new Installation.). Will wait till next Update.
